The Property Accountant manages General Ledger accounts and business transactions for multiple commercial properties.Responsibilities include conducting financial analysis, thoroughly reviewing records, and preparing key financial reports, such as financial statements and cash flow analyses, to support management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities:

Prepare monthly bank reconciliations.

Record monthly adjusting and accrual entries.

Track asset additions and disposals, recording depreciation/amortization.

Monitor daily cash balances.

Process capital calls and distributions to investors.

Prepare quarterly financial statement analysis with variance reporting.

Distribute financial statements to lenders and investors with Controller and/or CFO approval.

Assist with annual tax return preparation.

Contribute to annual budget preparation.
Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.

2+ years of experience in property accounting, commercial property accounting is a plus.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, Yardi is a plus.
