Last Updated: May 26, 2026

1. Overview

This notice applies only to residents of California.

Industrial Staffing Services, Inc. dba Equiliem, Industrial Staffing Services LLC dba Equiliem Energy, Rotator Staffing Services Inc. dba Equiliem Government, Medical Staffing Services Inc. dba Equiliem Healthcare, and Block Staffing Services LLC dba Equiliem Consultants (collectively, the “Company”, “we” or “us” or “our”) may use automated decision-making technology (“ADMT”) in connection with making “significant decisions” (as defined under the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended) regarding employment and independent contractor opportunities. ADMT refers to systems that process personal information and use computational processes, including algorithms or artificial intelligence, to replace or substantially replace human decision-making.This notice explains how we use ADMT, the types of personal information involved, the general logic of these systems, and your rights under California law.

2. Scope of ADMT Use

We use ADMT solely to make or assist in making decisions that may result in the provision or denial of employment or independent contractor opportunities, as well as determinations of compensation or compensation ranges. We do not use ADMT to make any other types of significant decisions.

3. Personal Information Used

Depending on the role or engagement, ADMT may process identifiers such as name and contact information, as well as professional, employment, and education information, including work history, qualifications, and skills. It may also process assessment results, such as job-related tests or evaluations, and, where applicable, limited internet or network activity collected during the application process. The system may generate inferences about qualifications or job-related characteristics based on this information.

4. How the ADMT Works (General Logic)

The ADMT we deploy use statistical models and algorithmic rules to evaluate candidate information against job-related criteria. These systems are designed to identify patterns in prior hiring or job performance data and to assess how closely an individual’s qualifications align with the requirements of a particular role or compensation level.Inputs such as resumes, applications, and assessment results are processed to generate outputs, including scores, rankings, or recommendations, which are used to inform or make decisions regarding hiring, engagement, or compensation.Depending on the context, decisions may be made solely using ADMT or may include human review.

5. Purpose of Use

We use ADMT to evaluate candidates efficiently and consistently, to match qualifications to job requirements, and to support structured and equitable compensation determinations. Our use of ADMT is limited to purposes that are reasonably necessary and proportionate to these objectives.

6. Impact on Individuals

The use of ADMT may influence whether you are selected for employment or independent contracting opportunities and may affect compensation decisions or ranges offered. Because these decisions may have significant effects, we maintain controls designed to promote accuracy, relevance, and fairness.

7. The Safeguards We Maintain

We maintain technical, administrative, and organizational safeguards to support the reliability and fairness of the ADMT we use. These measures may include periodic testing, validation, and monitoring for accuracy and potential bias, as well as steps designed to limit the use of data that is not relevant to job performance. Where appropriate, we incorporate human oversight and review processes. We also apply data minimization and retention practices consistent with applicable law.

8. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to request to opt out of the ADMT we use to make significant decisions about your employment or contracting opportunities, to request additional information about how ADMT is used and the role it plays in decision-making, and, where applicable, to request human review of decisions made using ADMT. If you opt out of our use of ADMT to make significant decisions about you, we will instead make those decisions by conducting a manual review of your application by recruiting personnel using the same job-related criteria applied in our standard recruiting process.

9. How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your rights, please call us at (888) 238-6050 or submit this form.

10. Non-Discrimination

We will not discriminate against you for exercising your privacy rights related to our use of ADMT.
