Job Summary
The Procurement Contract Specialist is a collaborative and results-oriented professional responsible for supporting sourcing and contract management activities across a range of indirect categories, including commercial, IT, corporate services, and science and technology. This role works within a global procurement function and partners closely with category managers to execute supplier contracts through a contract lifecycle management (CLM) system. The position requires strong communication, analytical thinking, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while ensuring compliance with procurement policies and organizational objectives.
Job Responsibilities

Collaborate with procurement and cross-functional teams to support contract and category management activities through the CLM system.

Assist in documenting and maintaining standardized processes for back-office procurement and contract management support.

Partner with legal and procurement teams to ensure proper application of contracting guidelines across various contract scenarios.

Review and support negotiation of Statements of Work (SOWs).

Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and suppliers to support procurement initiatives.

Maintain contract documentation and associated metadata within the CLM system.

Support corporate objectives and change initiatives aligned with procurement strategy and organizational growth.

Prioritize and manage workload based on business needs and procurement goals.

Monitor procurement processes and end-user compliance with established policies.
Job Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in finance, business, or a related field preferred.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or contract management.

Minimum of 3 years of experience in indirect procurement.

Experience using a contract lifecycle management (CLM) system; experience with IntelAgree or similar tools preferred.

Project management experience in a corporate or professional services environment preferred.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage internal stakeholders and suppliers.

Demonstrated problem-solving skills with the ability to think analytically and creatively.

Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.

Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks with minimal supervision.
Work Experience

At least 3 years of relevant experience in procurement, sourcing, or contract management functions.

Experience supporting indirect procurement categories in a corporate environment preferred.
