Data Center Technician I
Location: South Hill, VA
Schedule/Shift: Monday through Friday, 10 hour shifts, currently 50 hours per week. Weekend work may be required.
Pay: $20 to $24 per hour

Job Summary
We are hiring Data Center Technicians to support a cabling team on a new construction project in South Hill, VA, near Boydton. This role involves assisting with low voltage and structured cabling installations in a commercial construction environment. Candidates must have some commercial construction and cabling experience and be available for overtime and potential weekend work.
Job Responsibilities
- Assist with installing, routing, pulling, and organizing low voltage and structured cabling.
- Support the cabling team with cable dressing, labeling, and installation tasks.
- Assist with installing cable supports and related infrastructure.
- Follow project instructions and site safety requirements.
- Maintain clean, organized work areas and properly handle tools and materials.
- Work with team members to complete assigned tasks and meet project deadlines.
Job Requirements
- Some experience in commercial construction and cabling installation.
- Background in low voltage work, commercial electrical construction, or an electrical apprenticeship program.
- Basic knowledge of tools and installation practices used in cabling or electrical construction.
- Ability to follow instructions and work effectively as part of a team.
- Availability to work 10 hour shifts Monday through Friday, with potential weekend work.
- Reliable attendance and transportation to the South Hill job site.

- No travel required.
- Current schedule is 50 hours per week.
