Pharmacy Staffing with Dedicated Recruiters

An unfilled pharmacy role can lead to slower order verification, delayed medication delivery, added pressure on remaining staff and a greater risk of errors. Many health systems and pharmacies engage a specialized workforce partner after vacancies begin affecting turnaround, coverage or compliance.

Equiliem screens for licensure, registration and relevant practice-setting experience to help organizations identify pharmacists and technicians who can work accurately in fast-paced pharmacy environments.

Many organizations turn to us after internal recruiting efforts have not reached experienced pharmacy professionals, the majority of whom are already employed elsewhere. Health systems and pharmacies rely on workforce continuity to maintain patient safety, medication fulfillment and board compliance.

Equiliem supports these organizations with scalable staffing, recruiting, credentialing and workforce solutions that help leaders maintain stability in changing workforce conditions.

Why trust Equiliem with your pharmacy roles

The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval

The Joint Commission Health Care Staffing Services Certification

Pharmacy operations are closely regulated, and a licensure or registration gap carries consequences well beyond a single placement. Equiliem has earned The Joint Commission’s Health Care Staffing Services (HCSS) Certification, reflecting an independent evaluation of our processes and our commitment to quality, safety and continuous performance improvement in temporary clinical staffing. Our screening is tailored to the role and assignment: we screen for relevant experience and objective credentials, review available documentation, and coordinate applicable client-specific requirements, including Joint Commission requirements where they apply. Depending on the role, that may include state pharmacist licensure, technician certification and registration, DEA registration where a role requires an individual registration, background screening and applicable exclusion screening.

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

Losing a clinical pharmacist slowed our verification down basically overnight, and you feel that everywhere pretty quickly. The pharmacist that Equiliem placed started within two weeks and turnaround was back on target soon after, which is what protected our medication safety through the gap. That was the part I actually lost sleep over, so it mattered.
Nancy F., Pharmacy Director at a regional hospital
In a pharmacy the licensure file cannot slip, there's just no version of that being okay. The pharmacists that Equiliem placed arrived with an active state license documented, so when the board inspection came around it was clean and unremarkable, which is exactly what you want an inspection to be.
Victor M., Compliance Manager at a health system
A small pharmacy team has to mesh or the whole workflow gets awkward fast. The pharmacist that Equiliem placed fit our workflow and got on with our staff quickly, and then just stayed, so the disruption I'd been quietly worried about never actually materialized.
Holly R., Pharmacy Manager at a specialty pharmacy
We've filled several pharmacy roles with Equiliem over time, and every one was licensed, prepared, and there when they said they'd be. It keeps the pharmacy covered without it becoming my problem to manage, and that consistency is really the whole reason we keep going back.
Steven K., Operations Director at a pharmacy group

We've completed searches for a variety of pharmacy roles

Clinical Pharmacist

A hospital pharmacy lost a clinical pharmacist and their verification slowed almost overnight, which is the kind of thing that quietly backs up the whole medication process. We placed a licensed pharmacist within two weeks, and once they were up and running turnaround came back to target before the slowdown turned into something the units upstairs were complaining about.

Pharmacy Technician

A specialty pharmacy hit a volume spike and needed technician coverage to keep their fills moving. We supplied two certified technicians within a week, and they cleared the backlog that had started to build without the pharmacy having to push everything onto overtime to catch up.

Staff Pharmacist, Retail

A multi-site operator needed permanent coverage at two of their stores, where the gaps had been getting filled with expensive district-wide overtime. We recruited both pharmacists in about three weeks, and that was enough to pull the overtime back down across the district and give the other stores some breathing room.

Director of Pharmacy

A regional provider had been running on interim pharmacy leadership, which works for a stretch but eventually costs you continuity. We closed a direct placement director in 33 days, and because the licensure and registration documentation the role required was already in order, they started without the usual last-minute paperwork scramble.
