Radiology & Imaging Staffing with Dedicated Recruiters

An unfilled imaging role can lead to scheduling backlogs, extended patient wait times, idle equipment and delayed diagnoses. Many healthcare organizations engage a specialized workforce partner when staffing gaps begin affecting throughput, modality coverage or accreditation readiness.

Equiliem screens for registry credentials and relevant modality and equipment experience to help organizations identify technologists who can perform reliably in high-volume imaging environments.

Many organizations turn to us after internal recruiting efforts have not reached registered technologists, who are often scarce in a competitive market. Healthcare organizations rely on imaging continuity to maintain diagnostic throughput, equipment utilization and regulatory compliance. Equiliem supports imaging leaders with scalable staffing, recruiting, credentialing and workforce solutions that help maintain stability in changing workforce conditions.

Direct Hire Recruiting

For long-term hiring needs, we help organizations identify technologists and imaging staff whose registry credentials and imaging and equipment experience align with your department and case mix. A specialized radiology and imaging recruiter evaluates candidates based on their experience with the imaging systems required for the role. We are not the radiology and imaging headhunters of decades past. We are sophisticated relationship builders who maintain connections across the registered technologist community, allowing us to reach professionals who are in demand and rarely searching.

Why trust Equiliem with your radiology & imaging roles

The Joint Commission's Gold Seal of Approval

The Joint Commission Health Care Staffing Services Certification

Imaging placements depend on complete registry and radiation safety documentation. Equiliem has earned The Joint Commission’s Health Care Staffing Services (HCSS) Certification, reflecting an independent evaluation of our processes and our commitment to quality, safety and continuous performance improvement in temporary clinical staffing. Our screening is tailored to the role and assignment: we screen for relevant modality experience and objective credentials, review available documentation, and coordinate applicable client-specific requirements. Depending on the role, that may include ARRT or ARDMS registration, state licensure where it applies, background screening and applicable exclusion screening. Equiliem completes competency validation as part of our screening process. Imaging competency validation on your own equipment remains with the imaging department, and we work within your ACR accreditation and state radiation safety requirements.

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

Losing CT coverage on nights backed up our whole schedule, and it happened fast. The technologist that Equiliem placed started within about eleven days and our throughput recovered soon after, so patients stopped waiting around for scans that shouldn't have taken that long to get. That was the fire I needed put out, and it got put out.
Gary T., Imaging Director at a regional hospital
Registry credentials and radiation safety records have to be exactly right, there's no rounding in our world. The technologist that Equiliem placed came in with ARRT registration documented and the modality experience we needed, so our accreditation review went smoothly and I wasn't reconstructing paperwork the night before. That's worth a lot to me.
Denise L., Quality Coordinator at an imaging center
A small imaging team really lives or dies on fit, you feel one wrong hire every single shift. The sonographer that Equiliem placed matched our pace and got comfortable with our patients quickly, and stayed, so the disruption I'd been dreading just never came. It sounds simple but it really isn't.
Raj P., Center Manager at an outpatient provider
We've filled three imaging roles through Equiliem now, and every technologist was registered, prepared, and there on the day they promised. That's what keeps our modalities running instead of sitting parked, and after the third time you stop being surprised and just start planning around it.

We've completed searches for a variety of radiology & imaging roles

CT Technologist

A hospital imaging department lost their CT coverage on nights, and the schedule started backing up almost immediately because there's no slack in an overnight rotation. We placed a registered CT tech within eleven days, and once they were on the schedule the throughput recovered and patients stopped waiting on scans that should have been routine.

MRI Technologist

An outpatient center hit a volume spike and needed MRI coverage to keep their scan slots from sitting empty. We supplied a registered technologist within two weeks who kept the schedule full, so the center didn't lose the revenue that an idle magnet quietly costs you every hour it isn't running.

Diagnostic Medical Sonographer

A women's imaging center was running a booking backlog that kept pushing appointments further and further out. We recruited a direct placement sonographer over about three weeks, and with them in place the wait times shortened back to something the center was comfortable telling patients.

Imaging Manager

A growing imaging center needed permanent operational leadership to finally get a handle on its scheduling. We closed the search in 28 days with a manager who reworked how the schedule was run and closed a lot of the no-show gaps that had been eating into their capacity.

CT, MRI, a general rad tech, usually one to three weeks. Interventional or nuclear takes longer because there are fewer of them, and we’ll say so.
