Warehousing Staffing with Dedicated Recruiters

Warehouse workers in high-visibility vests gathered around a pallet in a racked aisle

An unfilled warehouse role can lead to receiving backlogs, putaway errors, cycle counts that stop matching the shelf and inventory shortages discovered too late. Equiliem screens for equipment-specific training, production history and pace suitability to help operators identify professionals who can sustain the pace your operation requires.

Many organizations turn to us when a supervisor or manager seat has stayed open despite repeated searches. Warehouse operators rely on workforce continuity to maintain inventory accuracy, receiving and shipping performance and labor cost control. Equiliem supports building leaders with scalable staffing, recruiting, credentialing and workforce solutions matched to your trucks and shift pattern.

We offer a range of warehousing services

Contract Staffing

When a night shift loses two operators in the same pay period, Equiliem can place certified replacements on the floor within days, screened for your trucks and your WMS. Our warehouse staffing checks certifications against the equipment on your floor before anyone starts.

Direct Hire Recruiting

For long-term hiring needs, we help operators identify material handlers, inventory clerks and supervisors whose experience aligns with your building and shift pattern. A specialized warehouse recruiter knows the difference between a certified reach truck operator and someone who once drove a pallet jack. Warehouse headhunters know that experienced supervisors and managers are usually already running someone else's shift or building. Our recruiters maintain relationships across warehouse and distribution operations, helping us reach proven leaders whose experience with similar equipment, systems, shift structures and operating pace aligns with the role.

Why trust Equiliem with your warehousing roles

Powered industrial truck training is central to this work, and OSHA puts the site-specific training and evaluation on the employer whose floor the truck runs on. Our screening is tailored to the role and assignment: we screen for relevant experience and qualifications, review available documentation, and coordinate applicable client-specific requirements. Depending on the role, that may include review of prior powered industrial truck training and experience by equipment class, with the site- and equipment-specific training and evaluation required under OSHA’s standard coordinated with you, OSHA training records, hazmat training where your inventory includes regulated materials, employment eligibility verification, background screening and drug testing.

See what our warehousing clients say about us

We couldn’t have said it better ourselves.

Losing three reach truck guys in a month to the new building up the road nearly broke us. Equiliem had experienced operators in here inside a week, and I mean reach truck experience specifically, not just somebody who said forklift once. Putaway never slipped, which given the month we had was honestly a small miracle.
Jerry F., Warehouse Manager at a consumer goods distributor
I run our own operator training and evaluation, because an untrained operator on my floor is my problem, not the agency's. Equiliem's paperwork has been complete every single time, by truck class, ready for our sign-off. They are the only vendor I have never had to send someone home on.
Tamika W., Safety Coordinator at a distribution warehouse
I promoted from the floor twice for the supervisor job and burned two good associates finding out it was not their role. The supervisor Equiliem brought us had done the job elsewhere for years and steadied the shift in about a month. I should have made that call two failures earlier.
Doug S., Operations Manager at a wholesale distributor
We have pulled temp labor from a lot of agencies over the years and mostly you get what you get. Equiliem's people show up screened, certified and on the right shift, over and over. Boring in the best possible way, which in warehousing is exactly what you are shopping for.

Equiliem is there when you need us

For more than 30 years, Equiliem has operated as a family-owned company supporting the workforce behind North America’s critical infrastructure, including the warehouses where inventory is held and moved. We place professionals across warehouse functions, from material handlers to the supervisors who run a shift, screened against the equipment they will run.

We've completed searches for a variety of warehousing roles

Reach Truck Operators

A building lost three certified reach truck operators to a new facility opening across the highway, all in the same month. We placed three replacements in five days, each screened on reach trucks specifically rather than forklifts generally. Putaway never fell behind, and the racking stayed as full as the WMS said it was.

Warehouse Supervisor

A first-shift supervisor seat had been filled twice from the floor and twice it had not worked. We looked outside, and in 19 days placed a supervisor who had run a comparable building's shift for five years. Turnover on that shift is down by half a year later, and the two internal candidates are thriving as leads under someone worth learning from.

Warehouse Manager

A company opening its first real warehouse, after years of a rented corner in someone else's, needed a manager who had done a startup before. We closed the search in 33 days. The building went live on schedule, racking to WMS, and hit its planned throughput in the second month.

Cycle Count Team

A distributor facing a customer inventory audit could not trust its own numbers. We supplied three experienced cycle counters on contract for eight weeks. They found and corrected the variances before the auditors arrived, and the audit passed without a finding.
